Lemon Rosemary Roast Chicken
If you love roast chicken try this speedy lemon and rosemary version. We’ve used the Ninja 15 in 1 Smartlid as it has a built in meat probe which cooks your chicken long enough to be juicy inside and crisp on top but you can use any airfryer or even your oven.

Ingredients
1 whole chicken
Zest of one lemon
Juice of half a lemon
Sprigs of fresh Rosemary
4 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt and pepper to season
250ml Water to steam
Method
Place olive oil, salt and pepper into a bowl.
Zest a whole lemon and add to the seasoned oil
Add freshly chopped rosemary and combine.
Into the Ninja pot add your water, place the rack on top in the lower position.
Place your chicken on the rack and cover with your lemon rosemary marinade
Take your probe, remove the stopper from the Ninja lid and attach probe.
Place your probe into the thickest part of your chicken, close the lid and choose PRESET, CHICKEN. The probe will calculate the cooking time automatically to reach an internal meat temperature of 75C and steam roast your chicken until ready.
Remove from the pot and allow to rest until ready to serve.
